Check out this response to my latest article on how to Slam Conservatives and Win them over to libertarianism. While, imo, Ireland's comments are absurd, take particular notice to his comment at the end of the second paragraph where he states that he will "attack those who attack the LP or who try to toss out our principles in the name of growth" At least Ireland is honest. I'll give him that. We should change the name of the Libertarian Party to the "No Growth Party," Obscure Presidential candidates, continued Election losses, and positions that alienate some Americans. Keep up that strategy, and the Pro-Growth RLC will soon dominate the entire libertarian political movement, while the LP drivels down to a handful of Ireland followers hanging out in his living room in San Bernadino. We have no commonalities with groups like the RLC; especially those who are among the worst and most unlibertarian on earth like Eric Dondero. I am not only a candidate for public office, I'm a good one and I'm probably the best thing for the LP. I'd rather see the party destroyed completely than see it become the Republitarian or Demotarian party. I never ever ever deviate from libertarian principles and I attack those who attack the LP or who try to toss out our principles in the name of growth. As far as your question goes, those in the LP should know better. They are expected to understand the meaning of libertarianism, yet there are those in the party who actively work against libertarianism. Some of them are on the executive committee of the party (Before you make a wise-crack, I'm not one of them). Before we can slay monsters outside the party, we should clean house inside the party; especially in positions of leadership when they are the voice of the party. I will publically humiliate those who in the party who compromise libertarian principles such as supporting the war in Iraq. Nothing could be less libertarian. I don't pull any punches or sugar-coat anything and I always tell the truth.
