Subject: Re: [badnarik2004] LP mascot

Funny you should ask...
A guy named Steve brought this up at a convention I
went to and he said the giraffe would be a great
mascot: They can defend themselves but don't need to
very often because of their stature, they can live in
groups or independently, and they have great vision.
Plus they're just beautiful, stiking animals, which
make the elephant and ass pale in comparison -
logo-wise. I'm not sure, but I believe they are kind
to their environment, unlike the elephant, that's for
sure!
Thanks for asking! Getting a mascot would be cool,
and, even though I hate to say something so shallow, I
believe it would put Libertarians more in the
game/more real to people.
Beavers ARE great workers, but the name also means
something else, and That joke would get old fast.
Best wishes and let's get us an animal!

I like yellow best, but that's also a cowardly color,
so if I had to choose, I'd say green - "go" light,
environmentally aware... that's all I can think of.
The idea of white being the inclusion of all colors is
really cool, if it weren't for "whites vs blacks,
browns and reds".

These are just my thoughts - hope they helped!
