> For life and liberty, > David Macko David you are correct. I have spent the last two years trying to keep this from happening but my efforts have came to naught. I ask, pleaded, begged and demanded that the LPF excom address the underlying causes for almost 2 years and they sit on their hands, and kept their mouths shut, except to stab me in the back, hit me over the head with their slurs, slap me around, hit and kick me for trying to bring peace and stomp on me for sticking to my principles. I have been called everything except a white man or a child of God. People like Mike Barr, Larry Lawver and others have tried to spread nasty rumors about me that are not fit to print. The people who stated this party are just responding to the things that the LPF refused to address. The ALP has done nothing but to provide choice. The LPF has decided to use the guns of government to keep people from having a choice. Again if the LPF excom had acted on its supposed principles rather than ignore the underlying issues this would not have happened. One thing will come out of this for sure. I will be on the ballot as a Libertarian candidate for Governor of Florida. THE FIRST. It has gone so far that the only way to solve the problem would be to elect completly new state officers and to disaffiliate the Seminole County affiliate of the LPF. I have been associated with the LP since March 1974, and a member of the LPF since March 1980. I have served on the state executive committee for 10 years off and on. 2 of those as Vicechair. I have ran 8 campaigns as a Libertarian under the LPF banner, in 5 of those races I garnered over 20% with no real money to spend. I am standing by the door ready to leave and to join this new party unless the LPF can get its act together. There are many others standing with me. It is a shame but I do not know what to do. Any help from national would be welcome. Thank You John Wayne Smith, CEO 1000 Planets, Inc. Building a Road to the Stars.
