In my early childhood I went a lot to the Baptist Church because that is
where most of one side of my family went to, the other side went to the
Methodist
Church. I liked to go to the Methodidt Church but I perfer the goverence
style of the Baptist Church with its local independent nature. Another thing I
like about the Baptist Church, if some members don't agree with the preaching
or
doctrine outlook of the church they are going to, they will often just go a
piece up the road and start their own church or find a church that fits their
way of thinking. I know people who will go 60 miles and pass 10 Baptist
Churches
to go to the Church they want to go to. I actually think that makes the
Church stronger, if people depart in a civil manner.
Now for many of you the above may not fit with your faith and I'm
not knocking your faith, if it suits you that is ok by me, I'm just saying
sometimes it is better for people to seperate and it can make both groups
stronger if the seperation is civil.

Now I do not know what happen to the LP in 1984 but it appears there are
a lot of bitter feelings over it, if people seperate civil like then maybe
they will understand that a little healthy competition is a good thing for
liberty and justice.
