Nice try uncoolrabbit. But I guess you're not aware. I'm fluent in
Spanish. I spoke to these illegal Mexicans directly both on this
side of the border and the other. I even stayed half my time in a
hotel on the other side in Mexicali and went out every night to bars
near the border. Got to be friends with one of the bar owners. He
liked me cause I was the only "gringo" that would come into his
bar. He told me the whole story about how every election year the
Democrat Hispanics from Calexico come over to register voters, and
also how they set up voting booths in Calexico a block away from the
border crossing to get all the Mexicans who are coming in for day
labor and to shop.

The Republicans? What Republicans? They don't exist in Calexico.
And the Republican Party of that County (West of San Diego) is just
as pitiful. They couldn't do anything if they wanted to.

Hey, interesting side note. There is one Libertarian in Imperial
County. He's a pharmacist who owns a pharmacy right downtown
Imperial. He's got "Vote Libertarian" bumper stickers all over his
truck. Big ones.

Every day when I'd register Republican voters in Imperial he'd come
out and bullshit with me for an hour, leaving a long line of
customers waiting on him.

He's not so much Libertarian, but much more conspiratorialist John
Bircher type. Though, he's officially LP County Chair.
