Na you can be against the war without backing Soroos and his sorry
bunch. Going after Saddam was a good idea but the US government
should have pretty much stayed out of it, let the private groups take
care of foreign ventures for the most part and if they need the US
government to help, and it is in the clear defensive needs of the Us
people then the US government can help if it does not get into the
way of the private groups which it is likely to
do.
Time peference being as it is with each of us having so much money
and time, those who want to support a venture in Iraq should be able
to do so if they take responsiblity for their actions but those of us
that may perfer to liberate Cuba or Chad or North Korea or spend our
time and money toughten up our local defenses and security should be
allowed to do
so.
Spending 300 billion dollars plus does not make sense in going
after Saddams possible WMDS, how many scientist and WMDS scatterd due
to the Penatgon and the CIA bluderings. 300 billion dollars would be
100 million dollars each if there was and is 30,000 bad guys, 3
million dollars for 300,000 bad guys, 100,000 for 3 million bad guys
which is almost 10% of the population of Iraq, there are around 26
million people in Iraq, so the US government has spent over 10,000
dollars for every person living in Iraq and it keeps
growing.
How much does it take to place a hit on a violent crimnal in
Iraq or convince the safe havens to give him
up?
Not saying Bounty Awards are necessary but the government can't
get that right very much 20 million for Bin laden is a joke, try 10
billion if stoping him would put much of a dent in the war on terror
but I doubt it
would.
Reports on NPR are that the US government offered awards in
Pakastain of between 3000 and 5,000 dollars for info leading to the
capture of Al Queda, the report goes on to say people were turning
people they did not like in to get the award, 3,000 dollars is a lot
of money there. The report goes on to tell how two guys who ran a
newspaper published a cartoon which made fun of a I radical Islamic
Cleric, the clearic falsely suuplied info tat the newspaper men were
Al quedia they ended up in Cuba at Gitmo. Now this story maybe a
bunch of hogwash but as big a screw ups as the government is I can
almost beleve
it.
Heck this is the system that gave the pilots of 9/11 student Visas
for flight school 6 months after they died crashing planes into
buildings killing over 3,000
people.
And we are going to trust our saftey to these screwball jerk
managers. I don't think that is a rational move at all.--- In
