I have been a life long Libertarian and appreciate the ALP extending the nomination for Governor to me. I was the first Libertarian to receive votes for Governor of Florida in 2002 as a write in candidate and will now be the first Libertarian on the Florida ballot for a state wide office. It is a shame that I will not be running for a party with current National affiliation but the ALP will address that in the future. All of this could have been prevented by a few responsible people addressing real problems but I will not abandon my principles for a spot on the ballot especially as a Libertarian. I would have had to do that to be a candidate for the LPF but the ALP did not ask me to. Freedom is the Goal - Responsibility is the Price - Tolerance is the Hallmark to assure that Freedom is for Everyone, not just a chosen few. Thank You John Wayne Smith, CEO 1000 Planets, Inc.
