I've been following the travails of the "Revolutionary Association of Women
of Afghanistan" for several years.
According to them, NOTHING has changed.

Sometimes hard to read, it appears to be translated by somebody with limited
english skills.

He was considered mentally ill BECAUSE he refused to repudiate Christianity
and embrace Islam (the state).

Just by coincidence, Cindy Sheehan (and a host of others, including the
Berrigan brothers) are considered by some American statists to be
"unbalanced".
