LOL. Too "lazy"? Do you then believe that all of the people in the US who
aren't actively involved in politics are "too lazy" to do so? Are all of the
people who aren't making millions of dollars a year "too lazy" to do so?
Everyone has a threshold under which they will live. Working for maximum
liberty has diminishing returns the closer we get to that goal. Not everyone
is interested in spending much of their waking lives fighting for the cause
when they already have the freedom to do just about anything they want
that's not hurting others. Why you consider that lazy, I don't know - but I
think it's just intellectual dishonesty on your part since you are just
dropping from the list after initiating the debate.

I am convinced that many of your NAP collegues would call such a
stance--being willing to support an aggressive government because you're too
lazy to fight it--unprincipled and un-libertarian. But it's your life. I'm
done with the list anyhow.

Ok. I'll answer the question - I'm not saying it's not my fault - what
I"m saying is that I don't feel the need to be involved directly in politics
(I believe I made that distinction before.) One still has the power to vote
and remain informed. These are very inexpensive measures, especially under a
very limited government, and can be done in line with the NAP. Unless you
want to be unreasonable, you'll have to accept that there can be a huge
difference between tolerance and advocacy.

I've been "moderated," so I'm refusing to post to the list anymore.
But
I'll do you the courtesy of responding.

      I was using a metaphor. Obviously I wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean
that you actually advocated murder, I was substituting "murder" for
"aggressive government" in order to make my point more clear. My point
is, how is it in any way moral to support, advocate and pay for
aggressive government and then say "oh, *I*'m not a politician. It's
      not my fault"?

Nope. I didn't answer because Terry and I were having the same
discussion in another thread, so I didn't see the need.
