I wish you all the best Paul.  Kidding all aside, if I was in your 
District, I'd probably vote for you.

Question though.  Let's say you do pretty well.  Maybe garner 3 to 
4%.

You know Michael Badnarik is running for Congress here in Texas in a 
diehard Republican District that stretches northwest of Houston all 
the way to Austin.

Badnarik told me without flinching that he was "going to win."

Nice guy and all, but truth is he'll be lucky to get 3 to 4%.  My 
prediction, more like 2%.

If you do better than Badnarik, doesn't that qualify you to run for 
President on the LP ticket in 2008?  After all, I'd be much more 
inclined to say that a candidate who gets 4% in a Congressional race 
is far more qualified as the LP's standardbearer than some guy who 
got less than 2.

Wouldn't you agree?
