He leans libertarian on most issues, and of all the politicians in DC
he is the most honorable. He refuses to run as a Libertarian, even
though he is comfortably ensconced in his House seat, and has been for
years. That speaks volumes in and of itself. He would easily, on his
popularity with his constituency and the fact that he is a long time
incumbant, win as a Libertarian - and it would be a boon to the Party
too. Then again, I think, if he isn't truly a Libertarian, then I
don't want to compromise our values. If he was a Libertarian, he
wouldn't be a member of the GOP. Political expediency and convenience
is no excuse to compromise one's values, and by running as a
Republican he has done just that!
