Good point, knowing how well politicans can lie or go back on their
word people can be fooledf but voting for a person a second time
holds you more responsible. I did not become a libertarian until 2000
but before that the best I remember I never voted for a politican
twice above the county level except 1, Zack Wamp for 3rd District
Tennessee  Representive to the US House, I voted for him a second,
maybe a third time and I regreat it. I'm fairly sure it was two times
in 94 and 96. Although I turned 18 back in 1974 I never voted until
1982, I actually voted for the LP guy for president in 84, old man
Bush in 88, Clinton in 92, Rose Perot in 96, I wrote Russel Means
name in, in 2000 for president, plus Sam Houston for US Senator and
Davy Crockett for Congress. Except for a couple of county elections
and the ballot measure for the state lottery ( which I voted for) I
have not voted since Novemeber 2000 and I doubt if I will this
year.
The secret ballot should be done away with, except  the
following elections. By a simple majority of the voters, voters
should be able to repeal any bill including taxes passed by Congress,
state legislator, and county commisoners, every year voters should be
allowed to vote by a simple majority a vote of no confidence in  the
government, new elections must be held for all elected officals
including the president and the US Senate within 6
months.
I think the majority has a right not to live under legisation
passed by politicans and they have a right to dismiss the government
officals. It would be I think a good idea to have to affrim a postive
vote for a law or a politican in public but pressure by others could
push some to not vote their will so they can turn around and vote a
negative in the secret ballot.--- In
