You may recall that three supporters of Audrey Silk for Mayor showed up at
the City Convention, paid $15 each on the day of the convention, and voted
for Audrey for Mayor.

Without those three votes she would not have had the 2/3rds majority to run
and perhaps we could have gotten a Libertarian to run instead.

None of those three who paid $15 each were ever seen or heard from again.

In addition, Audrey herself claimed that she was a member of the
Libertarian Party. This was apparently just a lie, as her name does not
appear on any county list of Libertarian Party members.

Jim L. was at that meeting. I did not see him object. To the contrary he
seemed to be protecting Audrey from being asked about those questions.

We got what we deserved. Audrey Silk got 0.25% of the vote, the lowest
percentage vote total of any Libertarian Party candidate ever.
