Entering a plea is quite different than being convicted. OTOH,
even entering a plea in most of today's cases (especially
criminal) is FAR from qualifying as "acceptance"; most pleas are
in drug cases where the defendant has little realistic choice in
the matter (plea "bargains"). Your position may be forgetting
that part of the definition of acceptance includes things like
"voluntary", "willingly", and "with approval". "Forced
acceptance" is an oxymoron.

{American jurors have complete Constitutional authority to vote
"not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the
case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions.
There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
its other main purpose: to counteract abusive government and
unjust lawsuits.
