http://www.oneballot.com/ The above measure is trying to get the approval by voters in Oregon of third parties and independents. I have not read the measure carefully but it sounds like a good idea to help beat the lockhold of the two main parties. If something was done like this all over the country I hope it would force the parties to have their presidential conventions before the primary thus it would be possible for a party loser to run as an independent. I think it is a good idea for parties to control their politicans but maybe one of the party losers would get more votes by the voters.
