The reason he spoke in terms of millions is because he born befor the
turn of the previous century. The phrase "turn of the century" refers
to the current century one is living in. Any person born before Jan 1,
2001 was born before the turn of the century and thus any person
currently older than 5 and 1/2 was born before the turn of the century.
