I get your post perfectly but the follow on posts are to say the least confounding... the seem to imply that at one point in time people did make desicions based on logicla debate of the issue. Populism has been around since before the revolutionary war folks. This is not some new problem to blame on modern goverment, it is as old as Democracy itself.
The solution starts with you, what you do and what you inspire those close to you to do.
