Well Vic, they did not need to take over the LP to get wider public suuport, if they actually had any talent they could have done that without the " bagage and past" of this " anarchist or fringe " group called the Libertarian Party. I suppose when all the " purist" walk out in 2007 or 2008 ( remeber the Reform Party in 2004) or this year and start a new party, This talented new Guardians of the LP will have nothing holding them back, they can make slow incremental progress on beating the Republicans and Democrats on one or two election cycles then lose on 3 or 4 and play the back and forth game they have been playing. This talent new lot will make 1 step forward for liberty, then 2 steps back, eventually we will be worse off than we are now, that is if decent people continue to pay attention to these politicans. Oh well campaign managers and advertisers can make a lot of money.--- In [email protected], Vic Cinc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > this would be a huge step forward in gaining wider public support. > > liberty should never be at any cost and irrespective of the consequences. > > Vic > > mark robert [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Sounds like the main change concerns drug prohibition.
