Well Vic, they did not need to take over the LP to get wider public 
suuport, if they actually had any talent they could have done that 
without the "  bagage and past" of this " anarchist or fringe " group 
called the Libertarian Party. I suppose when all the " purist" walk 
out in 2007 or 2008 ( remeber the Reform Party in 2004) or this year 
and start a new party, This talented new Guardians  of the LP will 
have nothing holding them back, they can make slow incremental 
progress on  beating the Republicans and Democrats on one or two 
election cycles then lose on 3 or 4 and play the back and forth game 
they have been playing. This talent new lot will make 1 step forward 
for liberty, then 2 steps back, eventually we will be worse off than 
we are now, that is if decent people continue to pay attention to 
these politicans. Oh well campaign managers and advertisers can make
