Description: During Intercollegiate Studies Institute's Milton Friedman's 
symposium, Thomas  Woods presents a lecture entitled "Religion, Economics, and 
the Future of  Capitalism." Mr. Woods discusses Milton Friedman’s support of 
free market  economies and explains the relationship between history and 
economics. This  event was part of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute's 
Spring 
Leadership  Conference in Indianapolis. 
Author Bio: Thomas Woods, Jr is a senior faculty member of  the Ludwig von 
Mises Institute. He is the author of "How the Catholic Church  Built Western 
Civilization," "The Church and Market: A Catholic Defense of the  Free Economy" 
and "The Politically Incorrect Guide to American  History."

2006. Professor Appleby, who retired after  twenty years of teaching at UCLA in 
2001, specializes in British, French, and  early American history. Her books
