Campaign season must be heating up - I booked two significant media interviews in the Phoenix area for the coming weeks, and the mailbox is filling up with invitations to chamber of commerce-type events and surveys from special interest groups. I <http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/issues/questionnaires/default.php> posted a few and more are coming, and we're nearing the time to answer the "one question" survey that you helped me devise (and which we'll share with other candidates for their responses).
I <http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/media-press/news_releases/06_0711.php> challenged my fellow candidates in AZ1 to join me in making public our responses to those questionnaires. While I don't expect any of them will respond to me, I hope the challenge will encourage at least some of the candidates to be more <http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/blog/blog.php?blog_id=28> responsive to their constituency about their positions on important issues. Media <http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/media-press/news_coverage.php> coverage continues to pop up in surprising places. PR Week <http://www.prweek.com/us/news/open/free/blogs/566881> magazine recently interviewed me about the use of new media in political campaigns, and my weekly <http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/media-press/op-ed/default.php> op-ed columns are appearing in print and online sources. I was flattered to receive a request from a party leader to use my columns to promote the liberty agenda in his state. We're getting ready for more media coverage in the form of advertising on radio and television. I've been drafting scripts, and if you're interested in giving me your feedback on what I'm working on, please re: me and I'll send you the drafts. I'm talking later this week with the gentleman responsible for this ad, <http://www.dougscribner.com/thirdwheel/BatteredVoterAd.htm> which was a clever twist on the expected. We'll launch an online survey before next week's update - it's not asking who people are going to vote for, but asking what people care about and why. Of course, I'll ask you to respond - I'll also ask you to forward it to your network of people interested in what's going on in the world.
