I've never heard any of my Gay friends talk of taking a vacation to "Gay Tolerant" Lebanon. Though, they've often talked of an Israeli vacation. Frankly, I think you're making this up. And what of the drug issue, and drinking laws? ******* Well, I have heard of them. And I never said they were as "gay tolerant" as San Francisco. But there really are open gays in Lebanon. They likely aren't as "open" when they visit the south, the HezbAllah area. But you can google "nude beaches Lebanon" yourself. 413,000 hits. I recall "blonde Lebanese hash" quite a few years ago. It was quite the faddish thing back then. I wouldn't want to get caught with it there, or here. And until last week, Lebanon was known as the "Paris of the middle east", with street cafes where people could drink alcoholic beverages (usually wine) out in the open. PEACE Steven R.
