Since I must be "that Harrison guy" I will explain this to you.

One nut shooting up a private organization does not seem like much.
Libertarians would probably worry more about the consequences for gun
control laws than for international relations.

We should pay more attention, however. The agency he attacked, the Seattle
Jewish Federation, had just promoted a pro-Israel war rally:

Assassinating members of civilian political groups is spreading to the US.
It has been going on in the Middle East for years. Israel tried to prevent
Hamas from winning the Palestinian elections by killing and arresting their
candidates. (It did not work).

Israel put out feelers about murdering people in America in early 2003 (1)

In Spring of 2004 the Israeli government assassinated Sheik Yassin, a
paralyzed old man in a wheelchair, as he was coming out of his mosque after
prayers. My opponent at the time, Rep. Tom Lantos-D, immediately praised
Israel for the murder, prompting my response which did get published (2).

A few people who consider themselves libertarians thought that attacking
Iraq could turn out to be some sort of "liberation". I disagreed but could
see their point. But now it seems impossible that any libertarian could
believe that the current attack on Lebanon by Israel deserves American
support or approval. The wild actions of this madman in shooting up the
Seattle Jewish Federation should warn us about supporting unjust
governments, no matter who lives under them.

Israel to kill in U.S., allied nations

Israel is embarking upon a more aggressive approach to the war on terror
that will include staging targeted killings in the United States and other
friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials told United Press
International...

Rep. Tom Lantos Condoned Murder

Rep. Tom Lantos condoned murder when he praised Israel for killing Sheik
Yassin and Abdel Rantisi. (³Daily Journal², April 20,2004, ³Lantos:²)
Regardless of what Yassin might have done, he was an unarmed civilian.
Civilized societies do not use the military against civilians, nor against
unarmed men. The Israeli army killed Yassin, and several bystanders, with a
missile fired from a helicopter, as the old man, who was paralyzed and in a
wheelchair, left the mosque where he went to pray every day. The UN Security
Council voted on a resolution to condemn this brutality. The only vote
against it, a veto by the United States, prevented its passage. We must
never accept murder, under any circumstances, as the policy of any
government.
