"not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the
case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions.
There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
its other main purpose: to counteract abusive government and
unjust lawsuits.

Alright. Fair enough.
So then, let's change the scenario slightly.
Let's say they are a renegade band of "Azteca" Mexican Radicals.
They have no interest in drugs or any crime whatsoever. They are
just total political fanatics, bent on overrunning the entire
Southwest of the United States.
"Se pertenece a nosotros. Todo de esa tierra de Nuevo Mexico
hasta
el Norte de California. "Yanqui, vete de nuestro Tierra. Pinche
Gringo Burro..."
"It belongs to use. All of the territory from New Mexico to the
North of California. Yankee, get the hell out, you f---cking,

le, Donkey!"
Say this band crosses into Las Cruces and kills 8 Border Guards
and
kidnaps 2 others. Say they bring them back to their hideout in
Chihuahua. Say they get on Mexican TV and issue their demand
that
if the United States doesn't abandon New Mexico, and begin to
pull
out of the 5 other Southwestern States the two kidnapped Border
Guards will be tortured and executed on public television.
What do you do now?
