What the article and you completely fail to mention is that there were rockets being fired from the building. Hezbolla was operating from there. If it is being used to attack, as it clearly was, it is a military target. Any military target may be attacked at any time. Any innocent civilians killed are totally the fault of Hezbolla. In fact all deaths in the current conflict in Lebanon are the responsibility of the members of Hezbolla, and the people who occupy the leadership positions in Syria and Iran. Hezbolla fighters crossed the border and kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers. There is no credible dispute to this fact. Hezbolla began firing rockets aimed at civilian targets after they determined that Israel would not play the stupid game any more. Israel then responded by attacking the places that rockets have been fired from. Did innocents die? Yes. But it was not avoidable. You can not allow attacks to come from places that using civilians as shield. And it is in many cases willing shields. And yes rational people don't do that.
