1) I fought against the draft and the foolishness called the VietNam
War. Both were evil absurdities as was the Korean War, our invasions in
Latin America and the Middle East. I learned that while preparing to go
into the military. I went to ROTC like any other good Hoosier boy,
watched my high school friends come back in body bags and helped my
hero, who was going to marry my sister (before she got pregnant while
waiting in the states), fight through his heroin addiction he picked up
there. He was a highly decorated marine who went on to become a D.I. at
Pendleton. He told me all sorts of "fun" stories about taking
Vietnamese in his helicopter, dropping one out to ensure the
"cooperation" of the others, and other stories.

Yes, I learned just what war is all about. I became an anti-war
activist speaking out against the atrocities and the American military
machines like the one today. I speak out against the current one
whenever I can. That is what a libertarian should do.

2) I hope you've gotten therapy for the indoctrination. Also hope that
you've got an honest job now.

3) If you understand libertarianism, I do hope that you are encouraging
other libertarians to GET OUT of the LP. The LP has nothing to do with
libertarianism, save to waste and use our valuable resources in wasteful
manners.

4) I don't know when joining a socialist institution like the military
is a "fight for our liberty". I would encourage young people to keep
out of the military, and encourage the ones already caught up in the
socialist steam roller to get out as quickly as possible and to try to
make amends to those whose rights he has already violated.

Cheers!
Just Ken
