He was in Germany during my 2004 60th year birth day party, but General Rick Sanchez got here to Austin, Texas soon after; see Nov 6 picture at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TerryLiberty His friend since college days, my 'CutePixie' (Rita), told him that I am a libertarian! He asked me about the libertarian position on the Iraq war. I told him of the Libertarian Party's opposition (www.LP.org) I told him that the LP's opposition was, in part, from the US Constitution (www.Constitution.org) and primarily from its philosophical premise: 'no person may initiate, or do a credible threat to initiate, physical force upon the person or justly held possessions of another person' [TV Show made soon after 911; includes ABC-TV Austin affiliate (KVUE) street rally interview with Terry Liberty Parker in first few minutes in which the LIBERTARIAN response to 911 is briefly described PlayBackAt http://images.indymedia.org/imc/austin/lll01100.rm ] When I told Gen Sanchez that he and USA soldiers were doing their duty to the best of their understanding, while Americans were not; he said 'that's what we soldiers agree to as members of the military of a democratic society'
On a recent visit here a few weeks ago he expressed similar views. -Terry Liberty Parker WeekendCall-InTV: 'Armageddon' Funded by US? at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TerryLiberty/message/310 --- In [email protected], "Eric Dondero Rittberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Actually, quite the opposite.
