It's even better than that!

Ron Paul served in the U.S. Congress 1979 to 1985. He did not seek
re-election in 1984, instead running for U.S. Senate in the Republican
primary against Phil Gramm. Tom Delay won Ron Paul's seat in 1984 as
a freshman Congressman. After losing the Republican U.S. Senate
primary, Ron Paul ran for President as a Libertarian in 1988. He went
on to be elected to U.S. Congress as a Republican in another district
1996, serving again in U.S. Congress 1997 - present.

My point is Tom Delay's district more than border's Ron Paul's current
district and more than received some Ron Paul territory from
redistricting... it is also Ron Paul's old district!

>From what I hear of Bob Smithers, he is a very solid candidate.
Moreover, although we may prefer Michael Badnarik, I encourage you all
to recognize that there are more factors in electoral success than
just the candidate. I will be supporting both Michael Badnarik and
Bob Smithers with donations.
