Funny, but not at all accurate. Most of them scored Moderate-Centrist leaning Liberal. One of them actually scored 60/80, but he had already been calling himself a "Libertarian." He was Lieberman's Asst. Campaign Media Director Andrew Berman, and a Member of the College Libertarians in Missouri.
With the others I explained how libertarians were "fiscally conservative and socially tolerant." Usually, the first response they brought up, was "Oh, so that means you guys are Pro-Choice..." And I said yes, absolutely. I then explained to them how we were also skeptical of government intervention in the economy and that we support much less government spending and lower taxes. After that I'd point to a number of libertarian celebrities like Clint Eastwood, Kurt Russell, and Dennis Miller. While not boasting, I must say I did quite a good job. They all left with a very positive impression of libertarians and our movement. I know this, because when I saw many of them at the "Somewhat" Victory Party on Tuesday Night, many of them yelled "Eric," and came over and gave me a hug. Afterwhich we all hung out together. If they had had a negative impression of libertarians, I'm quite sure they would have ingnored me. --- In [email protected], "mark robert" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Based on your very transparent bias-history, let me translate > your "walked through", "graded" and "explained": you told them > how scoring more as an authoritarian was not really more > authoritarian, but more libertarian. > > -Mark > > > > ************ > {American jurors have complete Constitutional authority to vote > "not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the > case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions. > There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a > unanimous verdict.
