Stanhope is a frustrated comic wannabe and certainly isn't as devoted a libertarian that Michael Badnarik is and doesn't have as impressive credentials.
I'm not putting Stanhope down, I hear he's funny. Eric seems to think we should run a celebrity for office, and turn the LP into a dog and pony show rather than have candidates who comprehend libertarianism (unlike Eric apparently) and who are dedicated to promoting it, and educating the public about it. Whether or not someone is a celebrity is irrelevant, and so is whether or not they've served in the military.
