To Libertarians:

As many of you by now know, I am currently editing a book that I am
likely entitling: Everyday Voices of Liberty. Contributors are sharing some of
their life experiences with an emphasis on key events or insights that brought
them to the libertarian movement.

I am often struck with how many seemingly dissimilar people are ardently
working toward the common goal of individual liberty. The book will include
essays from persons from all walks of life, regions, races, ages, gender, and
professions. I have had a very good response, and I am happy to have
contributors from across the U.S., Eastern and Western Europe, Africa,
Pakistan, India, Venezuela, and Costa Rica, as well as several prominent
persons. There have been some very good essays and this is shaping up to be a
valuable volume.

I believe there are millions who truly agree with libertarian principles. My
hope is that this book could be both educational and inspirational and perhaps
become a positive influence for the liberty movement.

Please consider submitting an essay of five hundred to five thousand words that
discusses yourself and what experiences changed or confirmed your perspective
of the world, government, freedom, and the individual, essentially why you are
a libertarian. I am interested in diverse perspectives. There are many
different reasons why each of us are working towards liberty. I am trying to
strike chords with the readers.

I have extended the submission deadline to November 14th, 2006 to allow persons
participating in campaigns to have time to contribute. With that said, please
try to submit something of publishable quality as soon as you are able.

Thank you sincerely for your consideration. Please feel free to suggest other
quality contributors.

    Sincerely,
