Eric,

I'm not sure of your point, but in this context "NAP" implies
neither "New Alliance Party" nor a "pledge". Again, it is the
libertarian principle: "Non Aggression Principle". I was never
asking whether you believed in "pledging" to it (if that's what
you mean), only whether you agreed with its philosophy. Do you?

Since this poster is NOT stupid, it's apparent that he is
attempting mis-direction to a 'bait&switch strawman' (if busted,
get folks to look elsewhere) So class, pay attention! :)

I'm sorry.

I served as Ron Paul's Travel Aide in his 1988 Libertarian Party
Presidential Campaign. At that time Lenora Fulani was the
"hottest"
thing going around the 3rd party circuit. Her New Alliance Party
was
the "up and commer" according to the liberal-biased media among
3rd
parties. Of course, they almost completely ignored the LP. To
give
coverage to the Libertarian Party would make Republicans seem
moderate and reasonable. So, they splashed Fulani all over the
front
pages of the NY Times, and other papers, and almost completely
ignored a United States Congressman running for President on a
3rd
party ticket - Ron Paul.

What happened?

Ron ended up with 435,000 votes.

Fulani, less than half as much with 180,000.

If that's not extreme liberal media bias, I don't know what is.

But "NAP" is forever ingrained in my mind as New Alliance Party.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one who conjures up those images in

his/her mind when he/her hears that acronym either.

If you all wish to pump up this stupid pledge of yours, you might
be
better off finding a new acronym.
