Jim, Regarding the problem of "troll" and the solution: I disagree. "Troll" is an easily abused term and is ad hominem by nature; pretty useless because it's so often misapplied by angry posters to generalize anyone who disagrees. I don't see the need for a solution. Instead I see an opportunity for exploitation.
-mark ++++++++++++++++ It seems that we have a mascot troll here by the name of E---, so most of us have seen an example of the garden-variety troll. John would take the Linnaean identification of trolls farther down the species path. For my part, I'm not particularly concerned about the subgenera of trolls, or ultimately the subspecies of each breed of trolls. When I was in college, I took the time to explore the botanical documentation of the subspecies of rhus toxicodendron, commonly known as poison ivy. Some years later, when it was my task to eradicate some particularly large stands of poison ivy, my only path of academic query was -- did I have enough Round-Up (TM) to finish spraying these five acres today? Let it be the same on this group. We should not delve into the genome of the troll, but simply deal with the troll in the fashion with which trolls should be dealt. See you in November.
