This is one of those weeks that's an acute reminder I'm a candidate for
public office. With three weeks to go, the media
<http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/media-press/news_coverage.php> is
starting its more attentive coverage - the three Congressional candidates
are on the front page of the Arizona Daily Sun every day this week, the TV
stations are calling for photos to use on election night, truth-watch on the
campaign advertising suggests that some
<http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/blog/blog.php?blog_id=153> people did
not learn everything they needed to know in kindergarten. My weekly
<http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/media-press/op-ed/default.php> op-ed
columns are also starting to pop up in more places as the silly season draws
closer to its 7 November 2006 conclusion.

This week will be an excellent opportunity to see a lot of Arizona from
behind the windshield - I'll be at candidate forums in Clifton
<http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Clifton,+AZ> , Eagar
<http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Eagar,+AZ> , Casa Grande
<http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Casa+Grande,+AZ> , and Payson
<http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Payson,+AZ> . I spend Thursday with
my classmates in the Flagstaff Leadership Program learning about public
safety and public service.

We're still asking for $39 birthday donations
(http://www.schlosserforcongress.com/contribute.php), and the returns from
last week's mailer are helping us expand the impact of our television

ads.
