Huh?? I guess you didn't read the entire article. The local Republican Chair, while not praising David, was accepting of him.
Let's not forget here, that David is just the most extreme of the "Vermont 5." Five Libertarian Party members have secured the GOP endorsement, including the State LP Chair. I don't suspect David will win, but the others have excellent shots of winning, and are ENTIRELY ACCEPTED in the Vermont Republican Party. Even your average Libertarian Party member would find David a bit "out there." C'mon. The fact that the GOP is tolerating him is utterly amazing. If anything we should be grateful to the VT GOP, not denigrating them.
