How would your methods accomplish this, since they consist of forcing the same old military aggression and the same old violation of basic human rights? Your only excuse for violating them seems to be the tradition of aggression (because that's how military aggression has always been). I do not disagree that invasion has usually been done that way; I only disagree that it is libertarian, or justified, or promotes liberty. I think I'm seeing another logical fallacy in your thinking. You seem to use circular reasoning when you claim that intra-national aggression justifies a military invasion into aggressing country, yet deny the burden to prove the aggression (as in "due process" / "fair trial" / "habeas corpus") because it is a military invasion. -------------------- > Your seriously anti-libertarian comments beg the repetition: > Which libertarian elements do you endorse and why? I am not going to answer this because turning the question on me has no bearing on the points. ---------------------- Sorry. Let me connect the question to the topic. I suspect the basis of your support (assuming there is some) for other libertarian positions is its non-aggression principle. If you could list a libertarian position that you support, it would probably be evident; and would probably show that your pro-aggression bias for military invasion is inconsistent. -Mark ---------------------- Vic ForumWebSiteAt http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Libertarian Yahoo!
