(Wall Street Journal piece may also be coming?)
Also at Mainstream...
Uncle Kracker goes Republican thanks to local libertarian Republican
candidate in Michigan
GOP libertarian Joe Negron pulls into a tie for the Foley seat in Florida
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford accused of being a "libertarian"
(Geez, imagine that? Mark Sanford a L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-AN. Kind of like that
southern politician in the 1950s who proclaimed that his esteemed opponent
associated with "Thesbians.")
Final comment, REASON MAGAZINE'S EDITOR SUCKS!!!
Jacob Sullum has the audacity in his on-line column to call for a GOP defeat
on Nov. 8. Sullum doesn't bother to even mention that with that GOP defeat
comes the defeat of our brave and courageous libertarian Republican candidates
nationwide. Casted to the side for Sullum would include Butch Otter, Sarah
Palin, Joe Negron, Tom McClintock, Ron Paul, Jeff Flake, Tom Feeney, Toby
Nixon, Leon Drolet, Ken Lindell, and the scores of other libertarians running
for Congress, State Legislatures, and local offices around the Nation, all
under the Republican banner. A banner year, all-time record for libertarians
running as Republicans and all solemn Sullum can do is essentially call for
their defeat.
Way to go Jacob. Just stab the entire libertarian Republican movement in the
back why don't you?
With friends like Sullum in our libertarian movement, who needs enemies???
