Obviously, a hijab or even a burkha will set somebody apart from mainstream America. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Here in Ohio and in Pennsylvania, we have large numbers of people that are descended from those that were persecuted and expelled from the low Dutch countries because of their Anabaptist faith. And yet, the Amish and their Mennonite brethren have still contributed to American diversity. Likewise, many Pentecostal women where long, plain dresses which hide their feminine beauty. Many women in New Vrindaban, West Virginia wear sarongs (which can be rather form fitting). Many women in Summerville, Tennessee dress pretty much like hippies. So, where is this so-called "problem caused by diversity"? Aren't we all richer somehow because of it?
