I reject your accusation of deflection. As I said, I was only
making an off-topic observation. Your post's hostility is curious
in response to my rare non-hostile one; for once I was not being
critical of your point. But since you insist, I shall certainly
resume.

As far as your point, I have few answers. If someone does not
want to defend themselves, they won't. If there's a real threat,
I suppose they better hire some security.

Clever attempt at a deflection.  

Now how about answering the serious point I made.

Women on the whole are anti-gun, maybe not anti-gun ownership,
but 
generally opposed to gun use for themselves.  

Now given that fact, how do you propose that females such as my
wife 
protect themselves against crazed [and violent authoritarians
regardless of being] Muslims and illegal Mexicans with 
criminal backgrounds from Mexico [or anywhere else] when they are
in major cities like Houston?  

Try staying on point this time.
