According to Janes.com, Kuwait is a hotbed of Al Quaida activity. But, you are right, Kuwait DID recently allow certain low level elections....some twenty five years after Iran allowed elections for the top offices in that country!
Didn't we fight a war there fifteen years ago to bring "democracy" to the Kuwaiti's? No wonder the Iraqi's aren't too impressed with our zeal to bring "democracy" to their country! PEACE Steven R. They just opened up local municipal elections a couple years back to all adults, including females. Not a giant leap, but certainly a step in the right direction. --- In [email protected], "Andr Kenji de Kenji de" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On 12/1/06, Eric Dondero Rittberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Not at all.
