LOST SOULS! PART ONE BRAVO TEAM Jean Valjean Lives has put together a team of nine. A team that is currently landing in Baghdad. A team of Camera Men, Journalist, Reporters, Recorders Of History. The first team of non-embedded media from the west since prior to the War. A team that has been notoriously named BRAVO TEAM.
I am Jaborwoky One, along with Jaborwoky Two-we will be responsible for monitoring the activities of BRAVO TEAM and posting them on line. Photos, stories, and commentary from them directly to the world. Most of the members of BRAVO TEAM are scheduled to work on a Documentary in Iran next month. Some of the members of the team were at the Battle Of Fallujah. Thus, the group decided to work on another media event while away. Besides Jean Valjean Lives, the project is being broadcast by over one-hundred political blogs world wide. Syndicated over the BBC, Revolution One, and Anarchy Today. Jean has scheduled an appearance on Air America for the 30th of this month. This is truly an exciting project for all of us involved. The mechanics of this thing are simple. Via PDA, laptop, cell phones Jaborwoky Two and myself will be getting stories daily here in Istanbul and then posting them along with any photos or videos. This is "no holds bar". We take the notes and comments of the Team, edit and post. Anyone in the field can send us anything. The goal being that we capture not only what is really going on in Iraq now but how our team is dealing with it. Nothing is sacred! The team of nine has multiple years experience and much of that in the field of battle. Andy/Camera: Fifth trip to cover Iraq. At the Battle Of Fallujah. His work has won numerous awards. Was White House Photographer for President Clinton for three years. Ryan/Video: First trip to the Mideast. Youngest member of the team. Brand new dad. Worked camera for Jarhead and American Idiot. Sam/Editor: Third trip to Mideast first to Iraq. Edited for CNN for ten years. Edited the documentary: The Diary. Rudy/Transportation: Ex-military. Served in first gulf war. Currently works with production companies coordinating travel and security. Whisper/Voice: Whisper is scheduled to primarily cover the Iran documentary from the front of the camera but will be used in all video work once the team reaches Fallujah. Whisper has been an on air war correspondent for twenty-five years. Worked three years with Jean in Columbia. Brandon/Communications: Five years in the Mideast. Will handle all technology and communication aspects of project. Ali/Host: Will handle security, hosting, translating-from Baghdad. Amir/Host: Will handle security, hosting, translating-from Fallujah. Jean/Producer(Editor): Eight year veteran. Was at the battle of Fallujah. Was in Baghdad before the Americans. Was in Afghanistan. Prior to that three years covering drug lords in Columbia. Script supervisor and consultant to Jarhead. Two previous documentaries. A regular guest on Air America. Editor/Publisher of this site. Ex-patriot of the U.S. probably because of all the time he spent locked up with Martin Sheen protesting NUKES! The only person I know that is craziest enough to go back to Fallujah and charismatic enough to assemble such a team. Good luck BRAVO TEAM! God Bless! To our world wide audience enjoy the next three weeks of LOST SOULS! www.jeanvaljeanlives.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
