The Politically Incorrect Guide to English and American Literature
Elizabeth Kantor

Description: In "The Politically Incorrect Guide to English and American
Literature," Conservative Book Club Editor Elizabeth Kantor tells readers what
she claims politically-correct English professors don't want them to know.
Her take on the conventional canon includes arguments that "The Canterbury
Tales" showed chivalry to greatly improve women's happiness, that Milton
deemed
all intellectual freedoms to be inherently Christian, and that Jane Austen
enjoyed patriarchy. The book also includes guides to "Books You're Not
Supposed
to Read."
Elizabeth Kantor is also a contributor to the national weekly Human Events.
She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Catholic University in Washington,
D.C.
