Richard B. Boddie, a longtime libertarian activist and a former Libertarian talk radio show host dating back to the late 1970s (not to mention, a former Libertarian Party member) will be appearing on Liberty Cap Talk Live tonight at 9 p.m. EST. The show will be an hour-long interview, and listeners are invited to call into the show to ask him some questions or offer some comments on the air. Since he will be an exciting guest to chat with on the show tonight, Dick will talk about how he came into the libertarian movement as well as the Libertarian Party, his life as a talk show host, his thoughts on the Ron Paul for President Campaign, Ron's sudden popularity among Democratic, Libertarian, and Independent voters, his thoughts on whether African-Americans can be brought into the libertarian movement, the Don Imus controversy, etc. If we have any time, we might talk about the Virginia Tech shooting, why many anti-war activists feel betrayed by the Democrats' refusal to push for withdrawing the troops from Iraq, and so on. The show's official website has been updated a bit tonight. I have included an online poll on the main page of the site, which asks about last week's second GOP debate. Please answer the poll, as it will continue for approximately a week. Every week, a new poll will be added, and the old poll will be taken down. Once the results are in, I will announce them on the air, and that feature will be added at the beginning of every show. The official website is Liberty Cap Talk Live. (See URL: http://www.libertycaptalklive.com.) The link to the show's broadcast is at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/hostpage.aspx?show_id=25000. The show will run from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. After this week, the show will return to Wednesdays at 3 p.m. EST as usual. To call into the show, the dial-in number is (646) 652-4504. Questions and/or comments are gladly welcomed and accepted. Please tune in. It's going to be a great show that you don't want to miss!!!!
