You should talk to some people who have government health care. People really do not like it.
One of the relics of socialism we have left in Estonia is government health care. I pay 13%(tax rate) of my salary to government health care. If I need to go see a specialists I have to wait roughly 2-6 months to get an appointment or visit a private doctor who will see me the same day and pay about 50 dollars. If I need surgery its even worse. Few years ago I had appendicitis. Government doctors sent me back from the hospital because they could not find my appendix. Instead of that one of the idiot doctors noted on the chart that I had 2 spleens. Because I did not get treatment I had to go back next day with much more serious pain. Eventually they did cut me open but because they did not do it in time I had lots of complications. And of course because its government system nobody is responsible if a patient gets poor health care. Thankfully in the next parliament election private health care will most likely be the number 1 issue. Michal Moors documentary is completely 1 sided. I have heard horror stories from my friends all over Europe about their government health care systems. US system does have it flaws and they can be corrected. But a government run health care is not the way to go. The problem with US health care system is not that it is free market solution. The US system not a free market solution and thats what you need to change. You need real private health care.
