TLP, I agree. Although "brilliant" only technically addressed the message (sarcastic use indicating the opposite: "ignorant"), this kind of name-calling of the message is sub-standard practice for those who can defend their position better. It's only one step down from a real insult. Heaving "bullshit" adjectives back usually only detracts from real content.
