The 2007 author of A Nation of Sheep, Thomas Nelson publisher.
The 45 -speech was a highlight of the Reason Foundation
convention in Washington, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Fox News Sr. Legal Analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano in 45 min. shows
speaks tonight, Sat. night 2412 Eastern Time,
explaining the highlights of his new book (2007) "A Nation of Sheep"
at Reason magazine's 10/26/07 Washington DC Conference
about how the "Patriot Act" is the worst assault on human liberty
since President John Adams in 1805 imposed the heinous
"Alien & Sedition Acts," prohibiting any criticism of sr. federal officials.
The Patriot Act allows the FBI to invade your home while you are church
on Sunday and authorizes FBI agents to make the government's break in
look like a robbery, empowered by a self-written search warrant without
the libertarian benefit of judicial review. All federal law enforcement
agents
are authorized by the Patriot Act to write self-authorizing search warrants.
Judge Napolitano lists and fully explains all of the major reversals against
freedom, occurring since British King John signed the Magna Carta,
when George Bush W. Bush snuck through the Patriot Act, only allowing
Congress 15 minutes to review it contents before insisting on a voice vote
so each Congressmen is not accountable by name as to how they voted.
George W. Bush signed The Patriot Act purposefully on the very day
that Iraqi Pres. Saddam Hussein was captured, knowing that the media
watchdogs would be so distracted they would not review its manifestations
until much, much later.
Additional Orwellian acts by American Presidents are fully annotated,
including many of Abraham Lincoln's, FDR's and W's egregious acts.
