I'm trying to get some dialogue going in my comments section and some blog talk radio shows (not here, in my blog comments!). Here is what I have so far (on email). David Nolan has expressed an interest in starting the dialogue with a radio show, Brian Holtz would like to have a written debate, and Tom Knapp can do either one. I would like to have the discussion involve all three sides (if another side besides those three (Restore 04, Worlds Smallest Political Platform, "Greatest Hits") exists, has a representative, a proposal and a constituency, I don't know about it; if anyone knows, let me know). So, how about parallel tracks? The radio show can include David Nolan, Tom Knapp and anyone who wants to be the designated spokesperson for the Greatest Hits draft not necessarily Brian. We can start on Steve Kubby's show. httP://blogtalkradio.com/stevekubbyshow I have laid out the case for all three alternatives as best I can at my blog (see URL above), and I propose Tom and Brian ask and answer each other in the comments. I will try to recruit someone to represent Restore 04. Anyone interested? I can also promote it through 50-100 yahoo groups (some of them reject my messages so I can't give an exact number), Last Free Voice, Ideas from Free Minds and Crazy for Liberty. Tom can mention it on TPW and Brian can mention it on Libertarian Intelligence if so inclined. I'm also on all the libertarian groups I could find on myspace, but I don't think they are read often. I have close to 1500 myspace "friends," of which probably a hundred or two hundred (guessing) are LP, although a lot of those would see it from my other distribution. Also, over 300 facebook friends, and MOST of those are LP. I'm also on several dozen facebook LP groups, but mass promotion through facebook is more problematic. I start getting warnings that my account could be shut down, and I don't know what the threshold for that is, so I can't promote too aggressively there.. Anyway, if you can start a discussion in my comments, I'll do what I can to bring more people, and same for the radio show; if this is agreeable, I'll do what I can to recruit a representative for Restore 04 for the written portion, and we'll need a representative for Greatest Hits for the radio show. So far, of the principals, Tom Knapp is the only one who has commented in the comment section on that post on my blog.
