I have no way of testing your contention that it was even read by, much less influential to the Founders in writing the U.S. Constitution. The book, as published in the file, spends a great deal of time on the republican form of government and chapter 9's title is: A farther Disadvantage of Republican Governments. —The People are necessarily betrayed by those inwhom they trust.
If the Founders chose a republican form of government after reading this, then they were scoundrels.
