borders looking for work. That country is Mexico.
Who wants that Arizona law that forbids Arizona employers from hiring workers
who do not have "permission" from the federal government? Obviously not the
employers, for if they didn't want to hire illegals, they would simply not do
so. Therefore, this law hurts employers, causing the labor they hire to be at
the very least more expensive, and possibly less productive as well. All
increased costs these employers suffer eventually are passed on to consumers.
So anyone who complains as a taxpayer about the cost of illegals should also
look at the benefits illegals bring to them as consumers.
But not to worry. The law will never work, for it is a form of prohibition. It
will cause worse problems than the one it is intended to solve (What is the
"problem" it is intended to "solve"?) without solving it.
