Yes, closer to anarchy I think we can all agree, and
basically the closest we have had and still worked was what the FFs
left us, though not perfect, as nothing has ever been. The truest
assumption of anarchy is a single individual isolated from anyone else
(as in the world or such, not prison). When you add somebody else, you
get cooperation (even if is nothing more then an agreement to leave each
other alone and not kill one another), peace or a government, or if you
decide to kill each other, or if even one decides to kill the other,
what you have is war. We confuse war and / or criminals with government
a very lot. When a body of men can live together in peace, it is
legitimate government, and when the government makes it so they can't or
is part of the problem, then they aren't government, but just a bunch of
thugs pretending to be government.
