Wouldn't it be tragic if the reason the world has always worked
that way has always been because people reasoned: "unfortunately,
that is not the way the world works at this point in time"?
Wouldn't that be the tragic status quo defending itself; giving
itself an excuse to continue the tragedy? Surely you can see the
circle in the reasoning. Again, you confuse legitimate defense
with initiated aggression (coercion).

In my ideal libertarian paradise, the government and military
would be totally non-coercive.  Unfortunately, that is not the
way the world works at this point in time.
